So both you and your spouse/partner both want to check out swinging? Great! But… before you jump on in, there are a few things you both should consider.

1. Why do you want to swing? Are you both looking for fun, friends, sex, etc? Are you looking to replace or fix something that’s not right with your relationship? Are you just interested in screwing other people? Swinging won’t fix relationship problems. In fact, if you go into swinging with relationship problems they’ll most likely get worse. Swinging should be something you BOTH enjoy and want to do together for the pleasure of everybody involved. Good communication is so important here!
2. Who do you want to swing with? Other couples? Single women? Single guys? Big groups of sweaty naked bodies all togeth… opps, sorry! LOL! Anyway… You and your partner should discuss what you want to do and who you want to do it with.
3. Where do you want to swing? Your home? Another persons home? Hotels? Parties? Clubs? Seems like an unimportant question, but it is something that you should discuss. Inviting others to your home may not be practical due to kids, neighbors, etc. You or your partner may not be comfortable in more of a group setting such as a party or club.
4. When are you comfortable getting down and dirty? Do you want to just meet and get down to it or do you want to chat/hang out with people and get to know them before you all get naked together? Discussing this ahead of time will help you narrow down your ideal matches.
5. What are you comfortable doing? Do you want to test the waters with soft swinging or are you ready to go all out with swapping? Do you prefer everybody in the same room or are you ok with your partner going off into another room with a playmate? Will you be following safe sex practices? Make sure to go over ground rules with your partner. It may seem like a drag now, but you’ll be much more comfortable in the heat of the moment if you know what you and your partner will and won’t be doing.
